Several hours after Kit and Kirby's disastrous fall from the skyscraper, Kit woke up in agony. Focusing on the pain in his back and neck, he tried to wiggle his fingers and toes, and breathed a sigh of relief when he felt all twenty of them move. Then he groaned as the anxiety gave way to waves of excruciating pain surging through his entire body, and gasped at how much it hurt. "Kit?" He was in a full body cast after a series of accidents had culminated with him breaking all of his limbs, his pelvis, his shoulders, his back, and even his neck at the graduation rehearsal eight days earlier, but despite how much pain he was in, he really didn't want to miss his college graduation.
